Helping you reach a better state of body and mind

About the Author

IMG_20150703_112012946 (1)Laina Poulakos is a mother of five children with a certification in Aromatherapy. She is also working towards a certification in Herbology. Her interests in Aromatherapy and Herbology started when her third child was born premature in 2002 with a chromosomal deletion. His health issues were numerous, by the age of two he was on twelve different medications. She knew there had to be a more natural and effective way to care for her family. After researching and trying some natural remedies, her son’s health improved greatly. Now he hardly needs to see the doctor at all. She sees this experience as an opportunity to continue learning and sharing information with her family and friends.

  1. It’s amazing what Mother Nature MD has prescribed! You are impressive in every way, Laina! I’m looking forward to watching you grow your business and reading more of your posts.

  2. During my travels, it’s become soo much more apparent to me, a pharmacist, that natural remedies are the way forward. I think your work is great.

  3. Your journey has similarities to mine Laina, I came down with serious illness but due to burnout, hypoglycaemia, multiple allergies and adrenal shutdown etc from very stressful work life which nearly killed me. The Drs did not know how to treat me, or even what was really wrong, but they knew I was very sick. A Homeopath friend helped me back to health, so I studied it an ended up after several years with diplomas in Homeopathy, Natural Medicine, Nutrition, Iridology and Family counselling. I guess i would never had gained these skills, or learnt how to live healthy and stay so fit for my age, if I had not gone through the health trial, as you did with your son. Bless you for you going the extra mile, and also for sharing such important and simple ways to help stay well.

  8. Interesting subject, very fine blog!

  9. Always nice to have someone go back to nature to find cures. The plants help out with many ills. I currently am using essences to help with stress and simply to smell good! There is rarely a day that goes by where I don’t anoint myself with love and light from the gifts nature shares.
